Article Acceptance Process:
Articles received after initial acceptance by the editorial board will be sent for evaluation to at least 2 reviewers with expertise in the relevant field, at the discretion of the editorial board and without the author's name. Final acceptance is based on the final opinions of the reviewers and is subject to the approval of the editorial board.
The steps are as follows
Submission of the article through the Institute for Humanities and Cultural Studies publications system by the author
Initial review by the editorial board, at which stage the article may undergo the following possible processes
A) Rejection and archiving (3 weeks)
B) Acceptance and assignment and sending the article to two reviewers (4 weeks)
Note 1:
Articles are rejected at this stage for one of the following reasons:
- Incompatibility with the content of the journal
- Submission of similar articles that have already been approved or published.
- Failure to comply with the rules and conditions of the publication that are posted on the site.
Note 2:
Submission for evaluation requires payment of the referee fee by the author or authors.
Receive referee results from both referees and review them
At this stage, the article may go through the following possible processes
a) Rejection and archiving
b) Referral to a third referee in case of disagreement between the two referees (3 weeks)
c) Acceptance and sending to the author for possible corrections
4. Making corrections by the author (2 weeks)
5. Re-sending to the referees for review and control of information (2 weeks)
6. Review of the article and the referees' views at the editorial board meeting
At this stage, the article may go through the following possible processes
a) Acceptance subject to final corrections by the author (2 weeks)
b) Acceptance of the article and then editing and preparation for publication
c) Rejection of the article and archiving
